Oh! Oh! I forgot about the Elephant Show and Skinamarink TV! Man, I remember watching those around 3 or 4 years old.

Aaaand... now I'm sitting here singing the song. XD  I'd almost forgotten about that show!

This so much! My brain went "oh hey!" when I read that

Does Bucky 'o Hare count?
It did have a toyline, but only 13 actual episodes. I adored that show so much.

David the Gnome was actually pretty big around these parts. It'd be on all the time, along with shows like The Wonderful Adventures of Nils Holgersson on one of our children's TV networks.

And oh my gosh I found it, finally!
Does anyone remember a show called Diplodos? I had a part of it on tape at one point, but the shows title eluded me for years. I only found it just now when this thread gave me an incentive to try again!

David the Gnome was my absolute favorite thing as a really little kid, its actually the first show I have memory's of watching. :)

Later on, I was really into Wishbone, but I dont really think that was obscure, it was just hard for us to watch it because we didnt have cable xD. I remember having an extremely old "dial" tv in my basment that could just about get that channel so I always watched it in black and white with a faint static audio after school. xD

So many memories!! I remember watching

Little Nemo
Unico
The Last Unicorn (not so obscure, but I guess it was back then. The red bull scared the crap out of me  )
Under the Umbrella Tree
Dumbo's Circus
Once Upon a Forest
Return to Oz (not a cartoon, but I loved that movie. The Wheelers terrified me so bad I thought for sure they were coming after me when I had to use the bathroom at night  )
Teddy Bear's Picnic
The Hugga Bunch Movie (another movie that scared me to death :P )
Peter Rabbit
The Velveteen Rabbit
Thumbelina
The Swan Princess
The Pebble and the Penguin
Happily Ever After (I think that's what it was called. It was about Snow White and 7 female dwarfs XD )
A Troll in Central Park
We're Back
Wish Kid (the one with Macaulay Culkin, anyone remember that? )
David the Gnome
The Little Bits
The Littles
Rover Dangerfield
Rock A Doodle (looooved that movie. Watched it SO much I wonder if the tape still works lol)

Chances are if it was a cartoon then I would watch it

Today's Special-I think that's what it was called. A mannequin in a department store came to life at night and there were some characters that were puppets.

The Elephant show

Welcome to Pooh Corner

Lil Bits

The Little Price from Outer Space

Danger Mouse

Dumbo's Circus

Under the Umbrella Tree

I watched everyone of these! I love all of them! Not too many people even knew about return to oz...a lot scarier than the original movie.

Anyone remember Camp Candy? It was John Candy as a camp counselor an it was a cartoon.

I've yet to meet one other person that even knows about The Odyssey. It was a Canadian produced show. (Featured a young Ryan Reynolds and Kristian Ayre from Space Cases... It's been awhile but there were episodes on youtube. I'd post a link but it's blocked at work.)

Oh man, I was obsessed with Ghostwriter.
We watched it in elementary school. Ah, the good old days...

Oh, Jim Henson's Story Teller, great show! it had a creepy fascination!
That was on Netflix! Loved watching it. And who doesn't love David the Gnome?

Oooh, I love Return to Oz. Dare I say I think it's even better than The Wizard of Oz? It's much more like the books and gives off such a dark, creepy vibe. I had it on VHS when I was a kid and I have it on DVD now.

YES! I used to collect the little ornaments too, and I had a subscription to the fanclub and everything. It was actually through a newsletter they sent me that I found out about it :D

Actually I think a lot of our shows are just so old that we forgot what they were as opposed to them being obscure.  I watched the mess out of the Elephant Show and Dumbo's circus when I was a little elvenwine26, would that make me an elven grape?   I miss Pirates of Dark Water, I seriously wish they'd finished it.
I love cartoons!
"How much for the horse tornado?"
"Sir, that's a carousel."
"I must have it!"
