I'm not sure if it was a whole show on its own, but I loved Picture Pages with Bill Cosby. My mom even ordered the activity books that you could do along with Bill.

And I can still remember at least part of the Pinwheel theme.

I'm not sure if this counts as obscure, but I was OBSESSED with The Pirates of Dark Water during its short run during the early 90s.  I don't know if they ever made an ending for the show....it drives me nuts to this day that I don't know how the story ended!  >_<

Also, elish2, you have great taste in shows!  I was all about some Dinosaucers, DuckTails and Darkwing Duck.  ;)

I used to love Mysterious Cities of Gold, and Kimba the White Lion.  There was also an anime version of the Oz stories that I loved.  Also maybe not so obscure depending on where you live and how old you are but Count Duckula, Danger Mouse and Trap door.

I watched a lot of PBS as a kid since we didn't have cable:p

Some of my favorites were Far and Away, Owl TV, and Square One TV.

On very rare occasions I'd get to watch David the Gnome on cable too:p

I was a big fan of the Disney afternoon (Gummi Bears, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Tail Spin) and watched it for years.  :)

As for obscure?  Hmm. . .

Possibly Dumbo's Circus.

Bump in the Night

Ghostwriter and Wishbone

Ah memories.  :)

Ahh sweet nostalgia. :hope: My childhood was all about The Real Ghostbusters, The Elephant Show, Camp Cariboo, The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin, Take Part (any fellow Canadians remember that one? ;) ), and You Can't Do That On Television. There was one other obscure show that I can't remember the title of, that I was obsessed with as a kid. Maybe you guys can help!

It was a live action kid's drama on CBC. The main character was a boy who fell out of his treehouse and hit his head, and most of the story played out in his coma/dream world. There were no adults in that world, but the kid was still convinced that his father was there somewhere and he was hell bent on finding him. I remember the father's little telescope was really important, but I don't remember if they ever explained why. Does anyone else know what show I'm talking about?
