i just watched Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.

I love that movie, I watched in a theater when it came out. Good film with no Adult humor, or bathroom references.  Definitely an animation that the whole family can watch. Dreamworks did a good job on it in my opinion.

I love that movie. When I saw it in the theater with my mom and sisters, I got teared up within the first few minutes because of how beautiful the animation is.

That's one of my favorite horse movies, too!  The animation is sooo beautiful, and they did a really good job of making the horses believable - their motions and sounds and such.  I think the animators must have studied live horses quite a bit.

They did such an amazing job of telling that story through the music and artwork even with next to no dialogue, it always impressed the heck out of me.  I was actually just listening to the soundtrack last week!

I love this movie too, now I'll have to watch it. My son has never seen it and he just turned four so perfect age to introduce him to it.
