i just watched Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.

It is very pretty. I got to see it in the theater, when it came out. One of the last great traditionally-animated features. If you like animal movies and gorgeous animation, you will love it. I picked it up in a Walmart DVD bin for $5 last fall. Can't beat it. I have the soundtrack, too. I LOVE the instrumental pieces of the soundtrack even more than the songs.

The film is amazing, the animation is superb, and the soundtrack has been one of my favourites for years. You can't go wrong with this film

I remember watching it with my sister when it was still in theatres*, and we both found it beautiful.  I was so happy about it, as back in those times big production movies like Disney already started to turn me off with their new animation styles. it was great to see a very well-done (not only animationwise, but also soundtrackwise) animation in the traditional style.

*it was a little funny though: we picked a Saturday morning show, and besides the two of us there were only 3 more people (a child with both parents) in the HUGE room

Love, love, love the movie! It's my second favorite, first being the lion king. I went to see it in the theatres and I also used to collect items from the movie. Reminds me of my childhood.

Wonderful animation, amazing soundtrack and mustangs. Plus Native Americans, a win win all the way around.  I saw it in theaters opening weekend, that's how much I wanted to see it. And was not disappointed.

I have the smaller Spirit Breyer that was released, as part of two sets. Each with three horses. Spirit,Rain, and their foal. What I really want is the traditional sized Breyer of Spirit.

I thought the eyebrows were a really lazy way to convey emotions on an animated animal that are supposed to be more realistic than cartoony.  The eyebrows bothered me enough that I most likely won't watch it again unless I need a horse movie for a kid to watch on netflix.

One of my favorite movies and I identified with it for a long time. A person who just wants to get back home, where she belongs. I also took a (symbolic) leap over a canyon to get back, but I crash-landed in the prairies!

I have the soundtrack but since I thought it was inadequate, I recorded all the scores straight off the movie to go with it. I have to put up with the sound and talking in the background, but since there is little dialog, it is tolerable for me.
