From the Equestria Daily, word from the international toy fair:

For those preferring the brushables, a new set of Magical Ponies will arrive in two waves this year. The first half will feature Princess Twilight and Princess Cadance with huge, sparkling soft wings and a beautiful mane, the second half will have all four princesses as snow globe-like, "Spakling Princesses“ through which you can see and enjoy the cutiemark-shaped snowflakes inside of them.

Anyway, no mention of anything else with brushable anything, though there was apparently an NDA so there may have been other things not mentionable.

I'm kind of disappointed with the announcement, honestly. :/ I want more characters, not just Princesses over and over. They're becoming the new Mane 6. 

Translucent ponies are pretty cool, though (but I'll likely drain them of the snowflakes - they probably won't look very good xD)

This!  I don't collect much in the way of G4, but "snowglobe" sounds intriguing.

The gimmicks sound interesting, but I doubt they'll make me get one of those...

*ponders how many gimmicks its possible to give the same 8 or 9 ponies* I would like to see the snow globe ones in the hope that they are some kind of translucent pony.

But unfortunately lines like this almost worry me...

but collectors of the mini-sets or blindbags will truly love this year’s sets

...mainly because it makes me think that this is where the focus is going. Its all about the ponyville and the EQG

It should be interesting to see how they do those.  While not a G4 Collector I do like fun stuff like that.
