I could do some checking tomorrow when its light out since I have both Twirly and hanks of Pussycat. I doubt it is though, quite a few ponies have light pink hair this gen but its pink havent quite matched with Pussycat.
The fading pink with newer ponies is not quite the same as on the G1s; and that means it is not as dramatically affected. However, pink [and red] will always fade quicker than any other colour - its the most sensitive to UV light. I would certainly not be leaving any pony with any shade of pink hair exposed to UV for too long or at least keep them in a more sheltered location.
