What is the population of the city you live in?

330,000 for mine (Leicester), tenth largest in th UK apparently, though it doesn't feel that big to me. It's  very old city, having been granted the status in 670, though it stopped being a city for a while.

I will always be a country girl at heart.  I spent the first few years of my life in a 'town' with a population of 104. Spent the rest of childhood/growing up in a town of 2300.  Currently living in a town of 4400 that's smack up next to a city of 27000.  My undergrad and professional school was spent in towns 82,000 and 44,000. That is WAY too big for my comfort!  And even though I've spent time visiting larger cities including Chicago and New York, I could NEVER live somewhere that populated. 

I love the vast fields of the Midwest, and even though a lot of people say they're flat and boring, I love watching a spring thunderstorm roll in from miles away.

Another London girl here! I've been living here for a few years now, but I still find central London a bit overwhelming at times. Overall, though, I enjoy living in such a big city. I love the diversity.

138,481 for the Metairie area which I live in.  Exactly beside it(since New Orleans sections are an odd serious of blurred lines, New Orleans has an estimated population of 369,250  as of 2012.  But really I imagine the numbers fluctuate a great deal. It's probably one of, if not the, smallest major city.
I grew up in the very rural town of Union, Mississippi where the population was roughly 1,988.  My city friends have a very hard time trying to comprehend the size of such a small town.

but some times its hard to say I live in TC because I live so far out in the middle of nowhere xD

It also ALWAYS feels like way more the 14k because we go from summer tourists coming here for festivals and beaches, fall tourists coming for hiking and colors, and winter tourists coming for skiing xD

we stay pretty busy all year round :p

Well, last I heard, Calgary was over 1 million people.  I actually don't mind the size.  I was in Lethbridge for a year and it was better than the small town I grew up in but it's still a little small for me.  Though, just as windy as the small town I grew up in.  I always considered Calgary to be Southern Alberta and Edmonton to be Central, so... would that make Calgary the largest city in Southern Alberta.

I live in Janakkala, Finland. Well, actually I live in a part of Janakkala called Turenki. But the total population is 16 881 people. (Had to Google, my estimation was 18 000).

I live in Umeå, Sweden. Somewhere around 100 000 citizens. I like it, it's the right size for me, easy to get around the whole town in just 40 minutes on a bike

Going by Wiki, Comox, British Columbia has 13,000 people. Not too bad.

1.7 million. Hamburg is the second biggest city in Germany (after Berlin). I've been here my whole life, so I can't compare. Some times I'd like to have less people around me, but I need the city or I feel ... alone.
