This is kind of boding well for those ?fakie? FS ponies that showed up, especially with AJ in them!
As for AJ's re-release and its impact on the previous AJ's extravagant prices, it may drop a *bit* but she'll still be sought after for her accessories more than anything, and the fact that it looks like her symbol is on the opposite side. She may actually be a bit smaller, too, since that seems to be the way the Hasbro winds are blowing...

I'm concerned that FS AJ may be an international release only? Just because we saw her from a South American distributor, and there's no news of here in upcoming toy releases here?

I love the idea of more Fashion Style ponies. And I ALWAYS love the idea of any pony who is not a mane six or a Princess.
This is a great move if it turns out to be true and I for one would love to see more!

Yay! We knew it would happen eventually, it was just a matter of when and I love that she still has her hat and her accessories are not too radically different

They do look like mock ups but they are probably Hasbro mock ups. They will be distributor pictures which Hasbro supply to retailers in order that they can list them on line or use them for publicity. We are almost always given product mocks prior to stock photos. Sometimes you are not supposed to use the mocks at all; sometimes you are supposed to use them just as a place holder; and sometimes you never get stock photos through so you have to add all the *not as pictured conditions to any material It all depends on the campaign and the brand and what we are doing for them. So I would guess Hasbro have AJ and DD listed as next FS wave and because they dont have stock photos supplied retailers with these as a filler. I am surprised there was not a release codicil on the images though which prevented retailers from releasing them prior to the US Fair - I would not be surprised if all retailers are sitting with them and this website just jumped the gun a little. I doubt very much they will be just an international release. Its probably that Hasbro have supplied retailers with a portfolio of products [the same as a traditional catalogue] in order to get orders kicking in Jan/Feb is a key buyer time in the industry.

It is going to slam the prices of current FS AJ, even with slightly different accessories and probably lacking bangs. We have already seen what re releases do to the prices of expensive G4s. But I guess FS AJ was living in a bubble for a little while at the price she was. It happens all the time in a live line because collectors dont have a guarantee of what is coming.

I will certainly be wanting Daisy Dreams!

I'm happy she's finally being rereleased and I hope she has her bangs because they're awfully cute.

Hasbro is very keen on rereleasing Daisy Dreams in particular. Wonder why.
