LOVE the snowglobe princesses !! I really hope they stay clear and nice looking, though.

I'm actually a lot more tempted by all of these rainbow music dolls than I ever was the older ones. But then again - Jem WAS truly truly truly outrageous. Still wish I hadn't agreed to sell my Jem dolls when I hit 12 or so..

Sad that we don't get new pony characters, but there's new E.GIRL characters. :/

(Also, this may be off topic on pony side but if anyone comes across Furby pis/vids from Toy fair in their search for ponies, could you please let me know? I´m googling like crazy but everybody seems to be reporting only equstria girls :/ )

Hmm

I like:
-Pop ponies! (but such space-wasting packaging)
-Clear princesses (would rather see the wings match better)
-There's more than 0 new brushables
-The breezies are cute (I don't care for the G3 breezies)

And dislike:
-Rehashes everywhere!
-Heavy focus on EQG dolls
-The graffiti/lingerie-painted ponies on the TRU table
-Only 2 new ponies, packaged in with the dolls


Overall from the stuff shown, I'd rate them a 2/10 for this year.
I wonder if the LPS booth is set up yet, I didn't see anything yet and even had trouble finding pics last year.

i'm not really  impressed  tbh..  its  kinda what i figured a ton of  EDQ stuff.

the only thing i  would be  maybe intrested in would be the fluttershy breezie thing
but it'll proably be   $15.00 or so.

and possibly chutes n ladders  but agian it'll proably be like  40.00
which is why i didn't get mlp monoply becuae it was worth the 45.00 price tag. 

the  little    playsets look   cute but agian     not rally big enough fo the ponys..   and proably     too much for what they are.

Octavia playful pony has a bowtie, cool. There's a KISS Celestia. Adagio and the two girls on either side of her are confirmed as new characters from the second movie. They're actually going to be releasing the basic mane six dolls in their normal clothes.

Well, I see Hasbro is either ignoring the fact that Jem existed or they are using EQG as a test to see if the concept is viable to the target audience. I mean really, how many of those Rocker dolls look like Jem characters? I do like the sets with spare outfits. Those I will buy for my daughter (who watched this thread with me and is drooling over all the EQG), I just can't see the price point for a doll that has practically nothing. We both like the Snowglobe ponies and the castle. The Car is meh, the Octavia is a possibility but for me, I am on the "where are the brushables without dolls?" wagon. Those ponies are the ones I was hoping to see when I heard about the Rainbow Rocks/Power line. Alas they are only with the dolls, grrh.
I guess since Hasbro is trying steal Mattel's MH thunder I can see why they are focusing on EQG, and must adapt to the fact that Hasbro does not entirely cater to the whims of adult collectors.

I am rather disappointed that the TRU favorite pack is *all* rereleases. Guess I will be saving my money this year.  Really irritated that the only two new playful sized ponies will require purchasing dolls also.  I am not at all interested in EQG.  What happened to MLP being about actual ponies?

I think the snow globe ponies are lovely even if it is still more rereleases of the same characters.

I'm not going to worry about the  breezies.  Can't bring myself to purchase a whole set for one tiny pony that isn't even brushable.

The only thing I've seen so far that I am actually excited about is the pop playset.  I really wish someone would get a picture of it with a regular brushable for scale.
