Nice collection! Maybe you'll consider joining us on the Monster High Arena?
You are Not alone!!!! Two years ago if you had asked me I would have told you, "I don't collect dolls, just ponies." But, the obsession only grew and morphed to include more pretty little pieces of plastic and now have a doll collection that makes me giggle in a fashion that make some question my sanity. Resin babies, Barbie, MH, Pullips, original artdolls, baby dolls, I could go on!! I really need to get my entire collection together and photograph it! You'd feel better after seeing it.
I've never liked dolls
You have a nice little line-up there!Quote from: disturbed-rainbow on January 08, 2014, 05:05:49 AMI've never liked dollsThe thing with playline dolls nowadays is that they improved so much. When I was a kid there was only Barbie and she couldn't move at all. I preferred action figures and animal figures to dolls and only had Barbies that came with horses X)Then came Bratz and I hated how they looked and what their "story" was (wow, they're all boy-crazy, fashion obsessed wannabe superstars... at least Barbie had real jobs). But things have changed a lot since Monster High's huge success. People have finally realized that little girls want creatures, aliens and more fantasy-based material just like little boys. They also want articulated toys and toys with more interesting styles, stories, playsets, gimmicks and accessories. This trend seems to captivate more and more adults who in turn suddenly become doll collectors like you and me
