Oops! I Just won a pony on a quick impulse bid on ebay she's a grail of mine so I'm hoping she is as good as described.
I wasn't going to bid on her as I ready have 9 ponies heading my way this month ...but now wondering if I over paid or not.
The listing described her as good condition but we all know that varies greatly from one opinion to the next. Also as am impulse I didn't ask any questions either  :scared:
So I'm crossing all fingers she's in really good condition.
Has any one else had good or bad experiences when buying on impulse and which ponies made you act on impulse?
I'll add links if people are interested :)

I have done that on more than one occasion and to be honest will do it again. And have over paid many many times but I have always got lucky with them.

Who did you win out of curiosity?

A mgr sparkler :) she doesn't look too bad in the photos but I've had ponies faults disguised by well angled pictures

That was you I saw that one on ebay if it is the same one she looked good in the picture  but I did not read the description or click in or it would have being a bidding war I guess

You are not alone! I think that we have all done it at one time or another. I know that I did that on two Breyer horses in the last week or so. After I did it and won I was like " Why did I do that?" "I should of not spend that money on that!"

I do it all the time  I shouldn't really and I have to reign it in a bit this year because we are saving. I've bought three ponies this month from Tic Tac Toe's ebay sales, I got Princess Star Gleamer, Princess Glittering Gem and BnG Pretty Vision.

When I bought my Mimic she was an impulse, I'd dreamed about her all week though technically I dream about many ponies I want ha. And when I realized I'd been paid extra I was like 'ok I'm bidding on Mimic' she's a rehair and came from America and cost me £54 with delivery. But I wouldn't change her for anything. When she got here I took one look and thought I have a Mimic.

Most of the time we are all pretty good at keeping to bugets and set 'pony spends' but sometimes a lot/auction comes along that you just can't help bidding on or just chance bid on.

I do that. Sometimes I'm watching it and it has like a minute to go and I'm willing to go up or for me to be outbid ha. If I win I'm like yes but there is a lot of what have I just done  :P

Yeah, an eBay seller had my 2014 grail (and it's not even mid January!) at a lower price than I expected to pay so I bid. I now have 5 ponies coming from the same seller - when I got outbid on the 6th I decided to let it go as I've probably spent more than I should've already.

 well I don't feel as bad now...The pictures aren't great a bit fuzzy and she looks like she has a yellow tinge to her nose (hoping it's the rubbish light) but oh well I'm sure I'll love her anyway. ...a mint pony would of cost me a lot more I would of thought :)

Impulse buying... :ninja: hmmm that rings a bell.

OMG I am the worst impulse buyer ever. I will tell you what I have purchased ( in the last 24 hours) :

3 x Disney store Frozen dolls
A BJD ($157 worth)
And I have cash waiting for some G2 baby twins soon as the seller gets back to me.
Oh and I have in my basket online on Disney store Singing Anna doll, frozen small figures, Frozen puzzle and Hans doll.

So yeah......I am an impulse buyer :P my pony record was last year when I literally spent $400 on ponies and accessories in 2 weeks......

I ave 3 Lullabye Nurseries...due to impulse buying. That kind of "thats too good a price to let it go"...bid...win...*head desk*

:lmao: :haha: you just wanted the nursery blocks!!! LOL!!!!

Haha I try not to get into bidding wars now...I'm TOO competitive never lost one...but lost a few too many pennies! Now I just throw it all in and hope....there's always another day and another pony :)
I was shocked to win this one...made me suspicious there was a fault. But a friend told me she sold one a few years ago for £16 so didn't feel so bad....but still oops!!

I've bid on impulse loads of times LOL. It's an aflliction I will never recover from :P

The best one I did though - I bid on Greek Ladybird after a night out drinking and forgot. I subsequently won. I'm happy I did because she's my grail but still was a bit of an 'OMG what did I do moment' LOL
