I love reading MLW, it's very helpful towards my project, as I want to include as much real ponies as I can, including toyline only ones, and I love reading it anyway because, you know, ponies.  Though, it makes me wish I'd played with ponies as a kid...
I will confess to being a brony, but I assure you that the things you may not like about them do not apply to me, I mostly keep the fandom name due to nostaligia, but I do genuinely love MLP as a whole, not just FIM, and not just the popularity of FIM - I genuinely love the show (and all the others)

I love My Little Wiki! I use it for inspiration for art, naming my adoptable pets, identifying ponies, and more. It's great for my family members trying to shop for me too. I just link them to the MLW page for G1 ponies I want so they know what it looks like.

Keep up the good work, MLW staff and contributors!

MLW is actually the first pony site I've visited in order to find names of my childhood ponies, and where I discovered that "generations" and "pony collecting" existed :)

To someone like me - the "other half" of a long-term pony collector - it's invaluable for finding out about ponies for potential birthday/christmas presents ;)

As an example I started off buying a Tux 'n' Tails pony from Ebay purely because he was blue, Clare's favourite colour. One visit to MLW later I found out not only was he a mail-order only pony, but that he had a "partner" in Satin 'n' Lace that came with a whole outfit, shoes and a ring! Thus started a quest to get her as well with all the accessories, eventually turning a simple present into something really special  :)

I first started using the wiki to find out more about the other ponies beside g1.  Once I got into g3 I started contributing to the wiki with photos as I felt I should help the website that I felt was very useful. I have hence learned how to start writing pages and creating links to update g4 pages, things I have never done before! So Thank you wiki for getting me started in other gens and for teaching me how to write wiki pages!
