Comic book swap?

Okay, my mind just cane up with the craziest idea. I was thinking, we could make hand-drawn comic books as a swap!!

The cool thing about comic books is that it isn't exactly time-consuming in the sense that it is a 'Oh I've got an idea!' Scribble scribble kind of thing. So maybe a long period to get the comic book done so there isnt much pressure?

And so our ponysona will be the star, maybe participants could do up profile pages of their ponysona and any other characters they'd like to star in the comic book.

Of course, awesomely detailed artwork isnt needed.

I am nowhere near qualifies to host this swap, so will appreciate if someone could help me develop this idea! )

I actually JUST did this for a friend! I loved their ponyona and though what if our ponies were to hang out for a day, so I threw together a mini comic for it. (I'm mailing it tomorrow so I'll post it once they get it!)

If you don't get approved by a mod I'd totally do a private comic swap with you!

That's an interesting idea! Were you thinking about a black & white or a full colour comic? What about the length? Personally I would recommend keeping them fairly short (1-2 or up to 5 pages at max) as drawing comics does take a fair amount of time even if they're done in a sketchier style. That would also make the swap seem less intimidating, I think. 

I'm happy to see you've already found someone who's eager to do this as a private trade in case there's not enough interest to set up a group swap.

It was a mini comic on half sheets of paper so the drawings were all very small (I apologize for my poor coloring job)

But BlueMoon has such a cool ponysona which such a cool background so i wanted to draw him a gift if our ponies were to hang out.

If you're interested in doing something like that I'm down.

pssshhhtt! I think as long as the amount of effort is the same they are equal! On top of that I could do s comic strip as oppose to a mini book, or black and white as oppose to coloring (honestly the coloring was what was the chore!)

If you decided to do this I am still interested, just say the word.

This sounds like so much fun!  I love drawing comics.  I bet a lot of people would have fun doing this.  If it becomes an official swap, I'll certainly try to do it, though it would depend on rules and deadlines for me.
