I don't remember those ones, but the having to type specific commands/actions sounds like one I played called Cross Country Canada. That was fun.

Those games sound kind of fun, I love seeing the screen shots.  I kinda want to play them now.  We did have some card games and such that may have been from them, though.  We had the old Commodore 64... and we thought we were so cool cause we had a joystick with our computer!  Ooh, those were the days.  My favourite game was Crystal Castles, but we really did have a small selection to choose from.
Thank you to SquarePeg for my beautiful avi.

I grew up with all those games. I played a game that I should have not played at my age. It was called Leisure suit Larry. Still one of my favorite series.

I had played the quest games as well. Sierra was a great company and they still make computer games and programs:)

I did the same thing with Leisure Suits Larry and the Revenge of the Lounge Lizards....It was because the questions at the beginning to check for age would always repeat themselves, and using process of elimination...at least they "Censored" stuff.

Sierra made Phantasmagoria and it remains one of my favorite horror games of all time. That was mid-90s though.

I was mad for several of the Kings Quest games as a kid! My fave is KQ 6, hands down!

You can get all seven (yes seven!) of the King's Quest games on Steam. :) http://store.steampowered.com/app/10100/

We had the disk for King's Quest VI and I played a little, but I really had no clue what I was doing. :< I might splurge on these at some point just for the nostalgia value!

I miss Sierra. They made some incredibly addicting games! I bought Lords of Magic off of gog.com and have been thoroughly enjoying it!

I got all the original Kings Quests from GOG.com...love playing them for the nostalgia too!

Oh I guess the website for the remakes would be good for those of you interested...

Oh yeah! I loved Kings Quest!  Boy was that basic animation- I think my favorite part was the unicorn-  I'd love to play a modernized version frankly :D  I don't really miss the terrible graphics, but the ideas were really good and I loved the story
