Ebay Item hasn't arrived yet :( - RESOLVED!!!

I bought a pendant on November 15th from a seller in China. I expected it to take a while and it was supposed to be here between November 27th - December 16th. Well, it's December 29th and still no package I contacted him and ebay opened a case against him.

The tracking number he gave me said:

Economy intl shipping, no further tracking available, ETA 2013-11-25 ~ 2013-12-05
Nov-18-13, 11:50 AM, China

Parcel arrived SFC warehouse
Nov-18-13, 03:01 AM, Shenzhen

So should is it just lost somewhere? Should I just forget about it and let the seller keep the money even if it never shows up? It was a cheap purchase and free shipping so it's not like I'd be out a lot. I just still really want the pendant

They may be able to send a replacement since you still want the item. Most China sellers have multiple items anyways.  With the case opened, just comment you'd like a replacement. Hope you get your pendant sweetie!

I hope it's just the mail being extremely slow and unreliable at the moment and that it is not lost. I would leave your case open for the time being, and perhaps give it a week more. If your seller has not corresponded with you in that amount of time to offer a resolution and the item has still not yet arrived, you can escalate the case.

I honestly don't think it's lost though. The mail was really screwed up this holiday season. So don't give up hope and if they happen to refund you, you can always resend payment when it arrives.

Ok, so I just got a message from the seller:

"Dear Valued Customer We are very sorry for this delay happened to you. Please dont worry, your item will be arrived to your hand soon, as you know recently many packages were delayed since of the holidays and would you please kindly wait a few more days? Please dont worry, If you have any problems ,please contact us anytime Thank you very much."

So... what do I do now?

At least the seller has now been in touch, which is more than what you were expecting.  If it were me, I would give it a few more days and see what happens.  I hope this means you get your pretty pendant soon!

Woo-hoo!!  So glad it finally arrived.  I actually tried looking for a replacement for you but that particular shade of blue is really hard to find.

Aww, that's so sweet of you! I've never seen a blue geode before - only purple. It was an impulse buy because I happened to see it like 45 seconds before it ended I'm glad I got it It's HUGE so I may not wear it, just display it

I've done that before, though I often end up regretting it, lol.  Glad it all worked out in your case, with the item actually getting there as well as you liking it in person.
