Sort of a reintroduction; I used to lurk here a lot a few years ago, but I doubt anyone would remember me since I don't recall participating a lot in discussions - I mostly admired other people's beautiful customs.
I'm 33, Swedish, and have been collecting G1 for almost ten years, although the collection has been pretty much dormant for the last few years since I have been short on both time and money. I'm hoping that will change once I finish my master's thesis in the spring/summer and get to work for a paycheck again, not to mention having regular working hours and actual free time.
Besides collecting little plastic ponies, I love knitting, running, and lifting weights at the gym. I'm also a horse person at heart, but when the equine love of my life passed away two years ago, I decided to take a break, and the break turned out longer than I expected. I will be taking up riding again as soon as I get the chance, though. I'm having such bad withdrawal that I'm considering sneaking into pastures just to sniff the horses...
You can take a horse girl away from the horses but you can't take the horses from her heart.
Like I said, I haven't been here for a few years so I'm looking forward to rediscovering the wonderful MLP world!
