I didn't notice this until now (thanks for this thread - if I hadn't gone to take pics I might not have noticed this for months as I don't have a place to display them at the moment!) but my Fluttershy's not in good shape at all.  All of the display models were dressed and I didn't want the clothes so I had them removed by the sales clerk.  The tag was just sitting in the bag and her ears and wings are not at all like Dash's as they're both bent down.  Does B-A-B do returns?  I still have the receipt.

As for Twilight - I'm not collecting alicorn Twilight so unless they do a unicorn version (which is unlikely) she'll remain a gap in my collection.

She doesn't look too bad as far as ears and wings go, the clothes do tend to flatten them down, but if you lie her down and straighten them out, they tend to go back to normal. Build-A-Bear seems to be very good with returns though, they accidentally cut open my Rainbow Dash while changing out her voice box and gave me a whole new one recently...but I know that they're usually very helpful and good with customer service.

Both my Dash and Twi each have a slightly wonky wing but I think that's a lil unavoidable given how they STUFF them into the bays...I really wish they wouldn't do that. Plus I feel bad for messing up someone's work if I have to search a bit for one without fraying embroidery....

I had to search quite a bit for a Twilight without bent wings. They do exist, but take some searching to find.

And I wonder about the wings being shiny too. That didn't stop me from wanting Twilight, though. (Even though I'm still not fully sold on the alicorn angle, either.) They look really pretty, glittering in the light.

... Which makes me wonder about something. If/when they make Celestia, I wonder if they'll put tinsel or something else in her hair to make it glisten.

An update - I was able to get my Fluttershy replaced last weekend.  Kudos to Build-A-Bear - they took care of me and I appreciate it.
