New Wave 9 Blind Bags at Hot Topic

Lol, prism glider is a wonder bolt I guess.

I was so upset the other day. I went to HT and they had these but every one was cut open on the back, then either stapled or had a sticker closing it again. I brought one to the register and asked if they had an unopened case and showed her the cut explaining that all of them in the bin were like that. The cashier was just like 'well you can feel them the guess which one it is' I said 'well you can tell what they are by the codes on the bottom. I'm afraid they will be mixed up'
She goes 'I assure you they're right. We have a pony fan here that wanted certain ones'
I told her I'd wait to see if they get another case in.
Urgh! So someone let that person cut them all open?! Some pony fan! No way she could guarantee they are right if they had no knowledge go the coding system.

Ok that is just crazy! I can't believe they let someone do that. I would probably call HT and complain about that, there is no way they want their employees doing that.
I went to the HT nearest to me and the woman said someone came in and bought the whole box and she doesn't know when they will get more.

I saw today  a box of the wave 9  at a Target
they look very nice , very cool color combos, but will wait until the full box is in the hasbro site

Here at the Wave 9 ones I got my first go around. I absolutely LOVE the new fluttershy...about dam# time!

My only issue with Fluttershy's mold is now she STILL doesn't match the rest as her mold is in the newer more slender style compared to her friends who have the chunkier legs of the older blind bag style, her wing doesn't match RD's either, so it's even more jarring.

I also spotted a box of the Wave 9 at Target today (along with the 5 pack of Rainbowfied ponies). Lucky me, it was untouched so I got my pick of the ones I wanted. They actually weren't in the system yet, so part of me thinks that they weren't supposed to put them out yet. Especially since the last time around, Hot Topic had about a month of exclusivity. But in the end I got them just the same.

One interesting thing to note, is that the bags at Target are more foil looking than the ones at Hot Topic. The codes are still exactly the same, so I'm not sure why they made that difference.

The bag on the left is the Target bag and the bag on the right is the Hot Topic bag.

Man, Madison is so slow to get new stuff for some reason! Hot Topic has them, but I'm going to wait until they get to stores that don't jack up their prices insanely. I like Hot Topic okay in general, but jeez...

Found a box @ Target today. An empty box 
Hope they'll get more soon. I'd rather buy them from Target than HT.

I only wanted Berry Punch so I snagged her from HT after nowhere in my area had the wave. I didn't feel like waiting until after the Xmas rush either. So yay!
