My Baby Sunribbon had that problem and few quick swipes with the hair straightener fixed it completely.

Though if you guys DO try the flat iron method, make sure you have the temp turned down as low as it will go. Too high and the hair will melt... Learned that one the hard way on a G3. You can also iron it when the hair is damp and it kind of 'steams' the hair straight.
I always try boiling water first and then a flat iron. I can only think of one stubborn pony whose hair didn't straighten after being dipped in boiling water (for braided ponies only). When they have frizzy hair, I generally go for a lengthy condition and then try a flat iron. My favorite part about ponies with braided hair is that it is usually easy to comb through, unlike some of the snarled balls of hair on some ponies Let us know how it goes!
