I wasn't really sure where to put this, so it landed here.  :)

I'm still sorting through all of my closets and found a bunch of fabric.  I guess I went through a phase where I decided I was going to start making my own clothes so I bought a bunch of stuff.  I have some corduroy, some velvety stuff, some various polyester/cotton blends...and some of it is in fairly big sections! For example, one piece I measured last night was roughly 23X46 (inches), another I measured at 100 X 56 (inches)

I was going to start taking pictures and measuring it to sell (or something) but I don't really know what to do with it.  So I guess I was wondering if anyone who sews needs fabric?

I'll try to get some pictures/descriptions up in a few days to see if there are any takers.

Mods, feel free to move this.  I just didn't know where to put it.  :)

Etsy and Deviant Art are two good ways to drop it. You can also donate it to goodwill.

Depending on what you have I might be interested. I like to use corduroy for snuggle bags and blankets for my hedgehogs :) Beyond that, yeah, etsy is a good place to sell it. I buy fabric on etsy a lot

I also use cotton with prints on it, I make hammocks for my pet rats!  ^.^

However, do you have any animals? If so, what kind. I know a thing or 2 you can do with fabric for animals!

Oh, I didn't realize that Goodwill accepts fabric!

I do have 3 cats at home.  I was thinking about making some cat beds (though mainly to take to the animal shelter I volunteer with), but I don't know if I'm too lazy for that these days.

I'm glad that there is at least some potential interest.  I'll try to get some pics up and see if there is anything anyone wants.  :)

You might check around at the Dollhouse or even on the MH Arena. Alot of them make their own doll clothes.

I second kaoskat on the MHarena thing. If you have any fabric with tiny prints I know several folks are looking for it. A lot of the members there are members here but if you want I'd be willing to cross post there for you.

Eeeep! So cute!! I wander in here looking for fabric to add to my hoard and I get bonus rattie pics. Sweet! I'll be interested to see what you've got hodgemo2. Also, I was glad to learn I can buy fabric on etsy.
