That's really kind, thank you, but I think Milky is helping me, but a huge thank you for the offer! :)

Can't remember if anyone mentioned this already but in the US, Gamestop is having an event right now. If you stop in and ask, you can get a code card to download a mega stone for either Pinsir or Heracross (depending on your game). When I picked up mine I didn't have to do anything special.

Yup! And unfortunately you can't share codes.. they're all unique.

That is a bit annoying, I will admit. When I picked up my cards I originally thought that I would walk in and the code would be on some poster and I could just write it down and be on my way. Not the case lol.

Question for ya'll. I am addicted to raising Pokemon even though I don't battle them. Anyone know if the new Ruby/Sapphire remakes are compatible with X and Y? I'd like to be able to transfer my Pokemon to it.

I don't think that there is anything official yet about the Pokemon being compatible, but my personal guess is that they likely will be since the Pokemon Bank application is still new and requires that pesky yearly subscription fee. I would assume that Nintendo would like to keep that as a source of money making for at least a few years lol.

I would assume that Pokemom bank will be compatible with all future 3DS pokemon games, so they should be good for ORAS :)
Thank you so much for the adoptable, Corona! :D

So, this is kind of annoying ... according to this page (http://segmentnext.com/2014/08/20/gamestop-offering-free-mega-evolutions-pokemon-x-y/), Gamestop is currently running a promotion to get a Mystery Gift Pokemon within the store! Didn't I feel silly when I came in and was told, no, that promotion was run weeks/months ago. :/ AND my local store ran out of the codes for the mega-evolution stone! It was not a good trip overall! :P

You can still get the Pinsir and Heracross via the internet. I got mine yesterday. Not sure if you can find the stones in game, or if it was only via the Gamestop promotion, though.

I'm pretty sure that the stones are obtainable in game (in Santalune Forest I think.... not 100% sure of that), but you can only get one stone in one game and the other in the other game. The codes just make it super simple to obtain the stone not found in your game (if you are playing X the code gives you the stone found in Y I think is how it works, and vice versa).

I traded away my Xerneas for Mew, and whilst I love Mew, I really miss Xerneas :( If anyone has one they would consider trading, I can offer quite a few pokemon. No shinies or legendaries, but have rarer ones x
