I would be excited if I found one just because its so rare and all, but i dont really want any except a gengar some day xD but then if i ever found a shinie haunter or whatever id feel bad for my current level 100 gengar who iv worked so hard on rofl.

It's fun looking for shinies in hordes using Sweet Scent. I'm on and off hunting both shiny Zangoose and shiny Seviper. I learned from gamefaqs a way to catch a Seviper in a horde of Zangoose before they knock it out which I can use when I encounter a shiny Seviper. They say over there to use a normal type Pokémon with the move Synchronoise and the move will knock out all the Zangoose. Funny thing is, the first Pokémon I received in Wonder Trade is a Lv. 50 Noctowl that knows Synchronoise. I place her at the front of my team when I'm in the mood to look for Zangoose hordes again. But it seems when I'm in mood to look for Zangoose hordes and go to the route they appear on, it's raining which keeps Sweet Scent from working. :\

Ya thats how i got my normal seviper, except i used chatot xD a pokemon id never even bother training otherwise haha.
anyway, i just dont care enough about shinies to look for them, except for the one i mentioned before, but since hes so particular im not even going to bother rofl. also caves annoy me terribly lol. I might have to try sweet scent out though, i had no idea that worked like that xD

Just trying ot play things through a bit, first.  Received both DS and game yesterday (not really an xams gift, more of I got something for x mas around the same price I was saving up for,  and it was on sale in my favourite colour....and my BF broke me when he made me do a bit of research.  I was good for 3 months!)

I got my first shiny for some days ago! Managed to get a fishing chain of 70 before it broke, then I started a new one and found my shiny after only a chain of four!
So I am now the happy owner of a shiny Corsola! She is to precious for words. <3
I'll try taking some pictures if I can find my camera.

Far as I know, the (current) only way to get a Purrloin in X or Y is to breed it from a Liepard.

well its a Y exclusive so im assuming its pretty easy for anyone with that game to find it. I just hate asking people for exclusives all the time, and since some of them seem to show up in the friend safari, i figured maybe purrloin might as well.
