Calling all Takara experts! Takara Pony Plushies?

So I've seen the same Takara catalog that every Takara enthusiast has seen, and obviously not all of the products in said catalog made it to production.

But I have always hoped against hope that those two adorable Takara plushies pictured inside DID make it out into the world.   These are the ones I mean:

Anyone know anything? 

Also, I should also mention (as long as I'm geeking out over Takaras) that I have longed to own an adult takara pony for years.  If ANYONE has one for sale, either MIB or loose, please PM me.

ARGHHH they're beautiful.  I've got absolutely no money until after Christmas, but I'm hoping to start a (obviously small haha) Takara and Takara fakie shelf at home

But back on topic, I've never seen one of these girls online, or heard of anyone having one But who knows, there might be someone in Japan who has a whole lot of these in a cupboard somewhere....we can dream haha

I have thought of making a replica, since I make plush animals myself.  But god I would love to own the real thing. I mean...someone did take a picture of these things, so at least two of them exist somewhere...right?  Does anyone know what happened to the prototypes (of any of these products) that were used for the catalog photos?

I think I just died of cuteness.  I adore Takaras, they remind me of Sanrio characters. I hope at least one was made, they're too cute not to be!

Sadly most prototypes end up in the bin the odd few that have turned up has usually been recused from bins by employees.

Ah man, most of them get thrown away??  That is so sad.   

I'm at least glad that the adult Takaras got made.  I am poised right now to buy two authentic babies...but an adult is what I have really been craving for years now.  It is my ultimate, ultimate grail.

Out of interest, what would everyone class as a fair price for an authentic Takara baby, and an authentic adult?  I'm clueless when it comes to prices for these, as they come up so rarely!

Bronycraft, I am about to pay $1600 for a pair of authentic takara babies.  Adults can reach $4000 easily, if they are MIB.  Though I have seen them go for between $2000 to $3000 as well.
