Awesome work hun!!! Have you read about cutting a V shape out of the plastic on the neck plug? It makes it easier to get the head back onto the body and you don't have to manhandle and squish the head to get it in. I almost always need to be kinda rough to get them together if I don't make the V cut. It was just a thought since you do have clay on the head, I'd hate for it to pop off at this stage.
This is looking so good! Just remember you should glue any pieces on before you paint a lot. The logic is that you should be gluing to the pony and not to the topcoat of paint. If you glue things on to several layers of paint they are more likely to fall off again and take the paint with them since the clay is bonded to the paint layer. But if you glue so that the sculpting is adhering straight to the pony there is less risk of this happening. Does that make sense? I don't know if I am explaining it well.
