Card Swap 2013 -> all done!

I just received my last card last night! I hope its replacement hadn't already been sent out. It was in my mailbox alongside a package that had been mailed back in June and marked as lost long ago, so I'm guessing the post office had some kind of cleaning project going on.

Anyway, thank you, feytje (I hope I spelled that correctly?)!

A parcel from June Omg, what in the world happened? It must've been sight seeing all over the world lol

Well, the weird thing was (okay, one of several weird things) that the package was in pristine condition. It seems to me that it must have been sitting on a shelf somewhere totally unnoticed. :/ I've had missing packages show up late before, but they were always in terrible condition, like they had been sent all over the place. This one was totally fine! So strange.

It's unreal that mail turns up months or years later, you really gotta wonder who dropped the ball whenever that happens.

is this swap almost wrapped up? i hope everyone's gotten their cards i must have mis-counted because i wasn't contacted about re-sending so it looks like every received my cards

totally doing this again next year and i loved seeing the photo cards that people made.. i'm already brainstorming pony scenes. i'll have to make a mental note if it snows here this winter to go outside and take some pics!

We had a similar experience, in which a box my grandparents shipped from Arizona went all the way down to Puerto Rico before coming back up to Idaho. O___o Evidently it wanted a vacation.

Anyways, guess what! The last cards came - both the original and make-up ones from aienhime, which are absolutely gorgeous, thank you - and from someone else who I think signed their real name instead of their username. You know who you are, thank you! I'm sorry to hear that your handmade one went missing, it's awful when that happens. ;__; But, considering that we had some other mail that showed up late your card might make an appearance, too.
