Yes, that is what I was asking basically, if it is okay to add partners to address book.

The USPS has the forever stamps for US and international... the forever international stamp is literally a huge globe of a stamp!!! lol

Oh and I received two cards in the mail! But, I am so glad they were in envelopes because the mail delivery person left my mail box open and all the mail was damp!!! grrrr
Anyway, thank you Angel-rose and derbygirl!! The cards made it and they are great!! Thank you!

I don't know if we have forever stamps here or not I don't see any reason not to hold onto address' for future swap or RAOPK type things, that's just me though

I would rather not have people keep my address. I moved over the summer and have people still sending me stuff to my old address. Some gets forwarded and some never shows up again. No thanks

If for some reason someone were to need it in the future just ask me for it.  I suppose I couldn't stop someone from keeping my address, but I would rather you didn't. It's causing a lot of issues for me now with people that did that.

mikeysgrrrl: in Canada we call them permanent stamps. and they're the size of normal stamps. actually i think all of our stamps are like this now. as in you buy them at whatever current price they are but if you use them in 3 years they still hold the value so you won't need to add stamps.

remember before when prices would go up so you'd have your 35cent stamp and then need to buy a couple extra stamps to make the current postage? yah that sucked lol.

if people want to keep my addy that's fine, but I don't know as i'll be that organised myself

our stamps here in the uk remain 'first class' or 'second class' no matter how long you keep them - so long as the stamp says '1st' or '2nd' on it then your fine to post an itme in that category so long as it doesn't exceed the weight limit for that 'class'. 

however, if the stamp has actually got a monetary value on it, say like 79p or £1.45, then it remains that value, so you can only use it if the item your posting costs that amount or less, if its more you have to buy extra stamps. 

are we posting one big brag with all our cards?!?  cant remember if that question has been addressed (pardon the pun    that was terrible, sorry... lol ) or if we're stil waiting the answer from a mod?

Thanks for letting me know Wyndstar, can you tell I don't mail anything in a regular envelope or send out postcards? Everything going out is either in a box or a bubble mailer lol. I do remember the days where you had to buy the .02 stamps and .05 stamps to add on, made the envelopes look hideous all covered in stamps

I think we post a brag when we've received all of the cards, at least that's what I keep reading

Looks like mailing reminders will be going out later today - there are 19 people that it seems have not shipped yet (or at least haven't PM'ed me - I can't know if cards have been mailed if people aren't holding up their end of the communication).

my cards are not mailed out yet, I didn't make it to the post office in time on Friday, and they are not initiating posting during the weekends, so even if I took them to a post office today or yesterday the'd just lay in a pile of letters until Monday (possibly bent and that), so I decided to wait until tomorrow, when they are mailed out right away. I should still be in time like this, right?
