I got my addy, in fact, I got my addy and my partner's addy!  Oh Skeen, you're reminding me of myself.

I don't mind a different colour as long as it's similar... like not Twilight Sparkle with orange hair or something. Not that I think it's that serious.

I don't mind a different color, as long as it "goes". I always love alternate rehairs, especially when they pull out different colors from the pony.

I got a good chunk of my pony done yesterday, and then had to run to Joann's today because I used up all my stuffing for Christmas presents. Luckily their stuffing was 50% off today!   I'm using this fluffy fabric which I am loving but the cut edges shed like a beast! I was cutting pieces out the other night and my husband walked over and said "Woa, it looks like you killed a chicken over here!"

I'm very pleased with how my pony is going so far, I think I may have a hard time letting it go too! I put WAY too much hair in her mane though, anyone have tips for attractively thinning out hair without having to pick her apart and redo it all?

for thinning it out. or making it look more on purpose, quilting effect works really well.

I am working on mine tonight to try and get the finishing touches on. I have LOVED sewing on this pony. In fact I think I have liked it better than doing sculpting and painting on the other swap ponies I have made! Got my address and I am planning on mailing on the 2nd!

I'm going to finish my plushie up tonight. I don't know if I can ship on Thursday because I am starting potty training with my son and we need to stay home. If anything, I can probably just print a shipping label online though...

So...I just want to remind my partner...I've never made a pony plush before so it looks kind of wonky...

Ok, I'm going to let you all know that I may be a wee bit late in sending out my pony.  I've tried really hard to get this lovely done on time but I wasn't able to really get to work on her until the Christmas break. 

Shortly after the swap got under way, I'd gotten a teaching position that takes up most of my time in planning and marking and learning a new curriculum for a combined class with many English Language Learners as well as gender specific teaching strategies (my school had separate gender classes, I have the 3/4 girls class) and while it's a wonderful class and school, I've been kept on my toes as a new teacher.  This isn't an excuse, ok maybe it is a bit, but I just wanted my partner to know that if the pony is late in shipping out, it's not because I was slacking and didn't care.

So far, though, I'm really happy with this lovely, though my creator's eye always catches the flaws.
