Question for Build-A-Bear shoppers (or employees)

Last week I took my kiddos to the mall to check out another store and we stopped inside BaB since we had never been in one. I noticed they sold sound pieces and they had the MLP theme.

My question is, will they let you just buy the sound chip? My daughter already has a PP plushie and I'd like to get the sound chip and see if I can slip inside PP.

I just don't want to make the trip over there if they tell me I can only buy it if I buy a stuffed animal.

Yup, you can it's $7, IIRC.

And Fluttershy is coming in November!

You can. If you take the plush with you they'll install it free, too! They'll add/remove stuffing free as well

Yup! My favorite thing to do when I was a bear builder was take a sound chip home and record it with a clip from something, then bring it back and make a bear of the character.

Purchase the Build-a-Sound and record your sound at home! I'm sure that line is on youtube somewhere and you can hold it up to your computer speakers to record. Then bring the sound and your receipt back to BABW and either build your animal or have them insert it inside an already made one.

when my husband (then-boyfriend) left for college 500 miles away, I ordered a BAB puppy and over the phone, I was able to record what sound I wanted on the chip (it's cheesy and embarrassing that it still works 9 years later hahaha).
