Question, following all the sculpy talk. How badly does it not hold up during shipping?  I have two small pieces on my custom that I was going to use sculpy for but am now rethinking that.

I don't know about shipping but I was handling the sculpted parts quite gently but no matter how careful I was it broke. Now I am repairing the Sculpey parts with Apoxie Sculpt and the damn things keep breaking... :( I think I may have to throw the Sculpey parts to the trash can and start all a new with Apoxie.

ETA: I ordered hair for this custom some days ago, it should arrive next week. Not sure how well I am going to pull this idea off but I will do my best!

Also, I drew the ATC card I planned to send as an extra and it turned out rather nice :)

Hmm. I hadn't done the sculpting part yet but I think I may move that to the top of my to do list just to make sure I wont have problems with it down the line. I have a little bit of apoxie sculpt too so I may just skip the sculpy completely.

It seems like I always have to glue my sculpey pieces back on,  that's why I prefer apoxie  sculpt.  But it's up to what use really!  Everyone has different experiences and you don't know until you try. ;)

Meh, I threw the original bait chosen back to bait box and took a smaller one and tadah, the sculpted pieces worked just fine in that size (although I did make them out of Apoxie this time).

I do end up with about 1,5 hanks too much hair as I did decide to do the pony of the smaller bait but at least the hair should be of pretty color so I can use it for some other project.

I'm done with sculpting I guess. I noticed that the bait I picked out has had a faulty mold, one of the legs is shorter than the others... I hope it doesn't matter much. I may try to fix it with apoxie if I get bored.

Well I was gonna get a lot of work done this week, but I've accomplished nothing. At all. First, work messed up my schedule and changed it without letting me know, so my two day week turned into five. And my dads been in the hospital for three days now... its been a great week. So sorry in advance if I don't check the boards as regularly as I usually do. Ill try to check it every few days to answer "dear partner" questions and hopefully ill eventually have time, energy, and general mood to get some sculpting in.

Sorry for minirant/ being a general downer.

This might be worth a chuckle.  I went to Walmart about three weeks or so ago to see what their prices were on 3DS games, and I found something very strange.  One of these things isn't like the other.

Ah, but did you notice it was a GameBoy Advance game surrounded by DS/3DS games?  The Ham-Hams are a few years late to the party. :P What was even weirder, there were like four copies of the game there too!
