No, not really any news, just still checking interest.  There doesn't seem to be too much though.

Oh, I just wanted to throw in there that I can do a sewn pony besides crochet. I have access to my mom's sewing machine now.

Rosier - I got a sewing machine Tuesday, so I tend to hand-sew also.    It also does embroidery so I have been gleefully playing with it, lol! 

Anitasmom - I will add you!  I was across from you at the fair this year and started at your plushies for 2 days, lol! 

I think what I'll do is have everyone make a list of ponies from any gen that they'd like to have a plushie of (but probably no more than 5 or 6 options, just to keep things simple).  Beyond that, it is entirely up to their partner to bring it to life, so whatever style/pattern they have or like is what they'll use.  Since the person you'll be making the plush for will have given you multiple ponies to choose from, you should be able to make one of them.   

You'll also be able to put down if there is something you absolutely do not want, like if you're allergic to certain materials.  Also if you have allergies to pets or if you have pets in your home where you sew, let me know.  I'll make a form to fill out so everything will be covered.  I only put this in here because I bought a plush recently that set off Mr. Skeen's allergies and we don't know what did it!  It will be a round swap so that the person you make a plush for is not the person who will be making one for you.  Because I'm all mysterious like that.

I thought we could ship in late December (after Christmas) so we could receive packages in early January.  I usually have overseas people ship earlier but with the holidays I won't do that this time.
