My First Custom *Finished! Pic Heavy

The FBR isn't really that smooth, but for a first, and yellow over blue, it turned out ok  Saturday I ordered some hair on Dollyhair (5 different shades of pink, there has to be a match in there), should get in either on saturday or monday. I'll give her hair as soon as my order gets in.
Also I'm working on a G3 Applejack right now, for her I already have some hair. The FBR is almost done, last layers will be put on tomorrow plus sealer, symbols and eyes. If those are done, I'm gonna attempt at rehairing

She's your first custom?! Wow, she is beautiful! I absolutely love her eyes, they're just perfect! And so is her cutie mark 
I have to agree that the FBR looks really smooth. Before I started using an airbrush, I tried a couple of FBR's by hand, and they always looked streaky. Yours looks great!
I really can't wait to see her with hair!

I need some help, I just got my DollyHair order in today and Heartthrob is a perfect match for her current symbols. But I kinda want to make her like the original G4 Fluttershy, what do you think; Repaint her symbols and hair with Old Bubblegum (which was a gift!  ) or with Heartthrob?

I'd go old Bubblegum, it's a bit closer to her original coloring.  She is looking FABULOUS!

first off: wow! those eyes! I love how they have your own personal touch. I need to "find my eyes" still. getting bored of factory.

hair: id say go with the lighter pink, or, if you wanted to run with the idea of her being a slightly more jazzy fluttershy, id do streaks of multiple pinks. like do it in bubblegum or pussycat, and put in a few streaks or blends of other shades, like the heart throb, or fairysbreath etc. but im always a bit biased toward multiple shades. =3

Thank you both!  I do try to replicate original eyes  but with a little twist
Will be rehairing her with Old Bubblegum I think than, but I'm going to rehair my Wave Runner first  and tomorrow it's fluttershy's turn, can't wait to see her with hair. I do find rehairing a pain in the bottom area, when I get some money on my paypal I'm gonna buy a tool

I hear ya, I have a love-hate relationship with rehairing. I love doing it but it takes me sooo long even with a tool. cant wait to see what you come up with!

She does look better in the pictures, I can see some flaws in the bodypaint

Honestly, I prefer sponges too. I did a fashion size fakie and used the sponge. The coat came out really nice! And I like the little bit of texture it leaves behind.
