Thank you! When I first got it back I thought they gave me a completely new system because the lid was unscratched and there was an unfaded upc label on it! They just replaced those also for some reason even though the problem was SD card slot.  And Rodney is super cute! He's my third hamster neightbor that I've had, I'll probably hold onto him for awhile. uwu

I'm looking for villagers if anybody has any moving. Some of my undesirables are hanging out on Main Street and I don't really want them back. I have 8 right now, but haven't gotten passed 9 for a while. I also haven't been getting many campers.

Actually, if they're on your Main Street, you can't get them back into your town. Every town has a list of the last 16 villagers that moved out, and these villagers will "visit" Main Street. As long as a given villager is on this list of 16, you cannot get them back into your town.

Say, for example, Bob moved out (whether you wanted him to or not is not important to this discussion) recently, and you had Poppy, Monique, Kitt, and Eugene move out after Bob did. This makes Bob #5 of 16. Your friend also has Bob that they got from someone else entirely (did not originate from your game), and their Bob is moving out. Since Bob is still on your List 'o 16, you can try talking to their Bob all day that he's in boxes if you like, but you will not get a dialogue option to talk him into moving into your town. Eventually, when you've had 16 villagers move out after Bob, and he becomes #17, Bob would be eligible to move back into your town.
