« on: September 19, 2013, 04:29:46 AM »
So I just got her, and love it! but i cant get her to work,
and the cape doesnt seem to stay on her? Anyone knows how it works?
Maybe its broken, or i dont know?

Is there anyone who has instructions or tips on it? It takes 2 AA's right?

Have you tried twisting the bow on her neck when the batteries are in? I know that changes the colours on the fibreoptics. Maybe cleaning the parts where the batteries connect with an old toothbrush to help with any corrosion? That helped with all my old Polly Pockets last year :)

Yes, she takes two AA batteries in her back under her saddle  ;) . As cadance says, clean the contacts if they are a but rusty and also, check you have the batteries the right way around.

The clips that hold the saddle in place are very delicate and break easily so that might be why the saddle won;t stay on.

Other than that, if the lights still don;t work then the wiring inside may be broken  :|

As Jem says the clasp holding the cape on is very temperamental; out of the 4 or 5 which I have had over the years I have only ever had 2 which were not damaged. The cape should still sit in place though for display, it just may not stay in place if she is moved.

Hopefully clearing the contact points helps you out.

I find that putting on the cape of mine works easily if you attatch one side first, then the other. I LOVE my Princess Sparkle! She's so gawdy and pretty...very decadent!
