I'm glad it isn't a G4 model. Nothing against G4 models as I own two but I also own some G1's and to me those seem to be the better quality.

It's curious though as to what the figure actually is because what I do know G1 models aren't exactly...well "mini". 

That is curious. I hope it isn't just a repro of Firefly-- I'd much rather have something totally new! I assume it'll be close to the G1 style, since that's what's pictured on the box.

Yep, I definitely have my fingers crossed for something totally new too.

If it really is a tiny G1, I will be aggravated that Hasbro licensed out their best products to Running Press.  And then I will go buy as many as I can find.  Just too bad that Hasbro's not getting my money.

Yup, that firefly looks great for being 30 years old! She's doing a good job posing in front of the packaging after being shrunk with the shrinkray tool in photoshop But I can't wait to see what the actual toy looks like.

I do think that the photo shows a REAL G1 Firefly-  but I actually would be completely fine if they used the G1 mold, shrank it to a couple of inches, and used rooted hair- how cute would that be?

I'm just hoping its not something COMPLETELY different-

It is odd they have the comb pictured- are they going to do a miniature replica of the comb too? That seems like a bit much to hope for but it is pictured...

The listing does say that it comes with a mini star shaped brush, so perhaps And yes, a miniaturized version of the g1 mold would be completely awesome! I just hope people realize that the picture we have is not of the actual product - don't get your hopes up for an exact g1 replica... yet!

Oh I'm completely thinking it's not the real thing, but it IS G1 art on the book, so yay for that!  There's no other information in the catalog. Save a street date, ship date, and price $9.99.
