Last time I went to the huuuge flea market down the highway, there was a few booths with vintage toys. The first one I hit had a bunch of ponies. The funny thing was that he had the G3.5s, FIMs and McDs indicidually set out with a price on each, around $10 a piece (for mostly still in store toys) and then a pile of G3s and G1s with a scrap of paper saying $3 a piece, $2 for babies. I was gonna help the guy out but the second he saw me lookin he went on a long sales pitch about how popular ponies are now, what Ebay has them at, how he saw them on Toy Hunter or something, and he kept calling them Apple Tart and Lightning and weird made up names, and being very very VERY pushy. So I smiled, bought all the G1s I liked (left the ones I had already for the next girl), and booted out of there.
The next guy a few tables down started laughing when I got to his table cus he'd been itching to go over there and nab all the G1s. He had a handful of McDs of various ages and was asking me names, where to look up actual pricing and how to spot the good ponies. All in all I got three awesome ponies I wanted and a good contact for any I wanted to sell off.
