Corn on the cob (with some mayonaise, of course!) I don't think I've ever been to a BBQ where it wasn't served. Then again, corn is very abundant here in the Midwest. xD

a family friend makes these things.. really big pasta shells stuffed with crab and cream cheese and other goodies. Do those count?

Potato salad No one can make it like my mom can. I've never tasted store bought potato salad that I liked! I also love baked beans and corn on the cob
