G4 fakies discolouring ... so fast???

Remember those adorable G4 fashion style sized fakies? They came in pink, yellow and blue. I have the "blue" one.  Or I used to have her. Now she has turned a rotten grey-green colour. I had kept her in the box. Looks so disgusting.
Anyone else noticed this? What about the other two colours?

Now that you mention it my pink one does look a little odd. She's still pink but her body appears to have changed to a darker dusty pink, not too bad though. I'd kept her in the box and she doesn't get direct sunlight.

Maybe sunfading can help. I have a pink imitation pony who I keep in my cupboard, but two times now she has yellowed significantly. Both times I put her in the window for a couple of days and she returned to her beautiful pink color.

Plasticiser breakdown. I had other fakie ponies that are similar plastic, and they broke down really fast - I can only assume being MIB would make it happen faster, like the G2's. I had mine in the toybox for my niece, locked in a cupboard with very little light, and probably better ventilation than my in-storage ponies! But they got sticky super quick and were tossed in the bin!

Oh no that's so disappointing! D: I have those as well, haven't noticed any problems yet but I guess Ill keep a closer eye on them.

Alas the downfall of super super cheap manufacture This is why in stores fakies can run £1 to MLPs £5.

I have 2 pink ones
one is currently in my custom supplies box, but is still the same pink
the other one is in my desk and is the same color
maybe the time for them to change hasn't come yet :/
