A travel trailer caught fire. Down the street from my friends house. Beyond checking to make sure the house wasn't on fire. I'd grab my ipad and messenger bag. Snag a few family photos that she would want. Grab the cats and get out.

She has a few BBs but honestly other things come first. MLP is fun to collect but not essential. Meds, pets and family photos top the list.

I could have shoved the two BBs I bought this morning into my messenger bag.

 Fire evacuations are scary. Sorry you had to go through that.

We have fire season here. I have only been evacuated once. I will say I took no ponies and I had more than 1000 at the time. I took photo albums, my cats and my computer.

I'm guessing this is before you had your girls. :)

Yikes, that sounds terrifying. Stay safe out there. :(

Both my parents are pretty old, and we have three cats, two of which are very neurotic and hard to catch during fire testing. We also happen to live in an apartment building, and would have to climb 16 flights of stairs to evacuate if disaster struck, so I honestly can't say I'd take much of my collection with me other than the pocket sized ponies I have close at hand (or a single really rare pony-if I ever get one). It would be hard to deal with losing them of course, but as others have said I wouldn't risk my life for something that could be replaced. We're lucky the closest thing we get to disasters around here are kitchen fires and thunderstorms, I couldn't imagine dealing with a wildfire or a tornado in a place like this.

I had to run into the lounge room to tell my family our neighbour's house was burning down once. Mum evacuated us all quick smart in case some burning embers blew over and the fire spread to our house. I grabbed Duck (my childhood soft toy) and my phone and that was it.

Now I'm living in a house of my own, I'd say I'd probably react much the same: grab Duck, Fashion Style Princess Luna and Fashion Style Fluttershy. Luna was a present from my best friend, and Fluttershy is my second favourite pony. I can't imagine what I'd do without them.

Hi Prince Primbrose,

I hope you and your family are all in the clear now.  Big hugs.  My family and I were evaculated due to a fire about 10 years ago, so I know how scary that feeling is.  We only had enough time to get the pets out, so I was not able to grab any ponies, but if I had time to choose, I would have grabbed my 8 orginal childhood ponies- Brightglow in my avatar is one of them.  We were so fortunate and only had some exterior damage to the house, so I was able to go back home and my dear collection was undamaged.     If you need a friend to talk to, you are welcome to PM me

What a scary situation. I think I would just grab my dog and get out. My ponies are dear to me, but still not worth risking my life over. In a situation with more time and space to pack, I would choose Fizzy, newborns and Ringlet. Those are my favorites, even though I do have some ponies that would be harder to replace.
