Thoughts on this girl? (Updated)

She's cute, hmm I am taking a guess that her hair is dyed. It is possible to dye a pony without getting it on the body it will be interesting to see when she arrives and you look inside of her

Yes its easy to dye the hair without staining the body. Nowadays I use watercolours to repink, but when I was a kid, I used to dye my barbies hair blue and green with watercolours.  You can't wash it off and it wont stain the body.

Hmm, so to check for evidence of a dye job, after getting her apart and after cleaning any rust stain/debris out; there should be one or more of the following- stains (if not watercolor) around the plug holes, stains (if not watercolor) from dye dripping down inside if it was saturated, white roots/white inside the tail clip if there was not enough dye to saturate them. Then we go from there. Ok, I think I'm ready! Ohhhhh.... Get Here already pony!

My guess is she's been dyed as well, but can't wait to see what you find when you get her and open her up! ^-^

She arrived yesterday. It was a lot work to get her head off  She was just about black inside from rust and flakes of rust fell out of her. The tail washer was badly rusted, but still there. Here's a pic of the tail once I got the clamp off.

Yes, indeed, Powder is not a natural blonde  She does have white roots, someone did dye her hair. I just HAD to know!

I'm not sure how much fun she's having with her head removed!  She'll be reassembled at some point.

I imagine some folks are wondering if I spent a lot for her. I will admit I was a bit disappointed that she didn't turn out to be a variant, but it's not like I spent $500 or even $50 on her. She was only a fiver  Well worth that to find out. I think lots of folks would have chanced $5 on a possible variant.

Omg, that poor Powder having all that nastiness inside! >.< Well, sorry she wasn't a true variant, but at least the mystery is solved. Thanks for updating!
