my photo
For Illinois... since Chicago is known as the Windy city...it's my home state
Illinois state flower is violet and there is a g3 violet pony
http://strawberryreef.com/Index/Name/februaryviolet.html
Illinois is known for Land of Lincoln but well none exists by Hasbro

I have one pony in particular that comes in mind for where I live now
she is a g3
http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Desert_Blossom
Arizona gets pretty much sun all the time so I would say Shady, sunny rays, or starshine fits us too
Arizona is known as the Grand Canyon state but no pony exists with this yet by Hasbro

1 pony comes in mind when I think of Kansas

Could G3 Chocolate Delight be a nice chocolatey pony for Belgium? http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/G3_Chocolate_Delight She is my favourite chocolatey pony... :)

I had considered that one, but still not quite what it's supposed to be. If only they would make a pony with a box of chocolates :p

They do....Love Letter :)

For Finland, I vote for G1 Shady... http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Shady Sunburned skin, yellow hair and always out of fashion...  :P
:lmao: Stereotypical Finnish attitude toward finding a "national pony" for you!

France could be a Perfume Puff, but they're perhaps a little tame...

Because CA is a big state, two or three ponies would work. To represent the diversity.

I'm originally from San Diego, southern Cali. G3 Beach Berry or G1 Seashell would work.

For central Cali how about G3 Frisco or Trolley. In honor of San Fransisco.

There is G1 Poppy, our state flower of course.

To add to the California ponies. To represent Los Angeles there's no pony that fits more than...

Hollywood!

My second home is Japan. Iwate Prefecture to be exact. I picked Baby Drummer to represent the Sansa Odori, the largest taiko drum festival in the world held in Morioka, Iwate's capital city.

Well being from Kentucky, I'd say g4 applejacks personality is more representable.. At least to some of us.

And yes, considered that one too, but her symbol is more like a love letter in a heart-shaped card. It would be odd if she was called love-letter and she had a box of chocolates no?

Isn't it actually a 3-dimensional box? Not that all pony names have much to do with their symbols anyway.

Rhode Island is the Ocean State so I'd probably say

Anchors Away

or maybe

Ocean Dreamer:

What about Waterfire since she is pretty much named after an event that takes place in the summer and since Hasbro's main offices are in Rhode Island it can't be just a coincidence?

France could be a Perfume Puff, but they're perhaps a little tame...

Onions, no... Breton stripes... um, no... baton shaped bread?... I think a Perfume Puff pony would be great, or just Rarity since she's a couturière. Her accent is probably just that which Americans would consider 'stereotypical European accent' so she might as well be French.
