I am SO excited about the deluxe Rarity and Pinkie Pie Boutique dolls that have been announced!! I still need to get the other two deluxe dolls.

Wow, Rarity looks so nice on that body! All of these photos are great.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I read this review and do all of the dolls have that hugh bald spot? Or is it just an error?

Ive got them lined up on my castle, I havnt gotten them new outfits or styled their hair yet. I had a hard time finding some at first but I stocked a huge amount the other night! Equestria girls... gotta catch em all! xD Here are my girls, missing the Sunset Shimmer twin pack, TRU exclusive set (unreleased), then the basic Fluttershy and RD.

I'm still looking for the basic Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, too.  Target and Toys R Us claim to have them, but I've called nearly 20 stores and there's no trace of them.   Do you or anyone else know anything about that?

Someone on another thread said their street date is november (either them or deluxe Rarity)  but they might be released sooner than that. Im having a hard time finding them myself, they are probably a wave 2 assortment.

Do your Twilight and Sunset have what feels like Nylon hair, or kanekelon? It looks shinier than my two in those pics, and mine have kanekalon for sure.

Genius! Did you have to do any modifications to get Rarity's head to stay on Catrine's body? (Drilling, etc?)

And another question, this one for Celestia owners! Is she supposed to have pretty much only blue and pink (mainly pink at that) hair on top of her head and in her "bangs" (the hair that would make up her bangs if she had them)? I found her in-store like this, the only green and purple in her hair was on the back of her head, in the under-layer of her hair. I didn't buy her for fear this was just a color rooting variation - if she's out there, I'd like one with a more even distribution of her four hair colors.

It also looked the Celestia pony figure's back wing was smooshed inwards by the packaging - are they all packaged like this, and if so, do they seem to pop back into shape when deboxed? I love love this figure, I'd prefer it not be damaged right out of the box, ha.

They aren't kanekalon, at least not the kind that's used on MH dolls. [The MH dolls with kanekalon are Ghoulia/Spectra/Venus] I'd say it's more like nylon. It's silky and high quality, though.

I think there are different types of nylon hair used - different production, manufacturer, etc. Has anyone actually tested what they believe to be kanekalon to see if it is or not?

I'm voting different types of nylon/saran. I have a hard time telling a difference between high quality nylon and saran. Kanekalon, however, I compare to those MH dolls I know have it. It has a certain wispy quality to it. How do you test it?
