I can host the tutorial for you. I do light coding and own webspace with unlimited subdomains. Just PM the name you'd like for your site (It'll probably be put on my thefannish.org url if you accept) and the images and text and I can set it up for you.

That's awesome of you!  Both of you are great!  This will be a big help to collectors.  Hmmm.  Does this mean that I have to start snatching up flutters now?  They're so pretty when they have wings!

Just letting everyone know, I'm working with Far Dreamer, who runs the MLP Restoration Project, on trying to get a page set up on her site for the flutter wing tutorial. However, if that doesn't work out for whatever reason, I'm still open to hosting. I'd like to put this on a site that already has MLP content on it, so people in the community can easily find it.

What is the cost of making them?  I'd love a big batch but know, realistically, that I'd never make them myself.  These are perfect!

Song, it really depends on how you decide to make them, but it's not cheap. I'll explain further when I get the tutorial up. It does look like so far that people would really like a tutorial, so I am probably going to make one.

Ah well thanks a lot for the tutorial I was curious about it too. So you use acrylic beads that you heat up and make the wings from... Okay it's a bit different than mine. In case you like to discuss and debate about, PM me

Panda, the wings are made from fantasy film, the acrylic beads just heat up the fantasy film, so it can hold the wing shape. I'll give you a pm as well : )

Thanks so much for sharing this!!  Flutters have always been among my VERY favorite ponies, because I love their leggy, graceful shape... but even with EXCEPTIONALLY careful handling, those WINGS were a disaster to keep intact.

I'm delighted to know that an option exists for replacing them -- you are a genius for figuring this out!!

Wow- thanks so much for sharing your amazing tutorial!  I never guessed how you made these- they look absolutely perfect in person- I remember when they first came out I bought as many as I could for my girls, lol

I'm so curious to try wings using maybe a different color of fantasy film-  again, thank you so much for your generosity in sharing your technique!
