Okay, seriously people!  I wonder when Hasbro and other toy companies will just sell the digital file for a figure that you have to have a 3D printer at home to make your own?  And then paint it.  And forget about brush able hair.  And printer cartridges cost EVEN MORE than what we use with the toner always running out.

I think that'll happen--somewhere after all cardboard accessories and pegs for legs ponies runs its course.

"In my day, when you bought a toy you got a toy!  They were made of petroleum, not compostable biodegradable extruded soy byproducts.  I know, hard to believe!"

Isn't that... not so terribly far off what they are now?  I mean, compared to an actual horse (or even a G1)...

At any rate...

If in the future something like this could be implemented affordably and safely, and the quality of the item was comparable, I would buy products that way. It would eliminate a whole lot of waste. But with 3d printed items as fragile as they are now I dont see it as a valid option.

Just my 2 cents. I know you were joking though.

Ponies will only be available in cereal boxes. You will have to pour out the extremely sparkly, sugary Pony O's to find the pony. If you don't see her and she ends up soaked in milk and mushy Pony O's... well, too bad for you.
