I do like the taste of white bread from a proper bread bakery a lot.  But it's actually worse for you than just eating spoonfuls of white sugar, so I mostly steer clear of it.  Damn processed food being so addictive.

Mostly I eat sour dough or ciabatta.  I particularly love it when my hubby makes it. Unfortunately since moving to the US he hasn't made any bread (except damper, and that doesn't really count) due to a lack of supplies.  I love heavy grainy breads.  And also fruit bread.

I love my bread with grains and crunchy stuff in it. Lately I've been buying this grainy sunflower seed bread and I'm hooked!

I think it depends on whether I'm on the east coast or west coast.

I love fresh wheat or multi-grain bread!  But if I'm in New Jersey- the Rye CANNOT be beat.  No one knows why the bread products (particularly bagel, pizza dough and Rye) on the east coast are far far far superior to west, but it's an undeniable truth.  I do sometimes wonder how bread in various other countries stack up...

The only time i really eat bread is for toast or vegetarian fruit-based sandwiches... That being said, i love cinnamon/raisin swirl bread, pumpkin bread, banana nut, and other sweet desert-like breads

I like white but I didn't put that as a answer I forgot to. >< However, I do like 100% wheat and multigrain bread. I mainly choose them over white because they are healthier options.

Before they went out of business, in philly by my Memi's house, they had these rolls and my mom would put unsalted butter and then sprinkled salt on top of them. I still dream about those rolls and can taste them... I wish they didn't go out of business.

i also said SODA! Soda bread is my favorite, and I make it all the time, especially to go with chili, its one of those weird things that makes me happy xD

Sourdough is my favorite for "real" bread, but I usually eat with tortillas or pita bread for sandwiches/wraps.

Yes, thank you! While gluten free bread and other food items has its uses, especially for people with celiac disease, it is not necessarily healthy! The "gluten free" tag is a fad right now, and some people will just buy anything that says "gluten free" on it because they think that must mean it's good for them. This mentality drives me up a wall.
