(LOTS of) St. Louis Pony Meet Pictures

The St. Louis Metro East My Little Pony Meet was held on August 17th in Belleville, IL (Southern Illinois - across the river from St. Louis, Missouri). 

Whiskerz85 (& "Mr. Whiskerz" lol) were kind enough to allow us all to converge on their home for a day full of games, laughs, food, and buying/selling/trading MLPs (of course)!

Rhini arrived first, while Andrew (my husband) and myself came shortly thereafter to try to help with any finishing touches.  Whiskerz had done a MARVELOUS job of decorating her home with ton of MLP decorations.  Her backyard was set up with multiple tables waiting for everyone's arrival!  There were centerpiece decorations, posters hanging from the side of her house, and dangly pony cut-outs hanging from the three (which I just loved to get whacked by)

Whiskerz got pony plates, napkins, and cups!  The blue cups were primarily for the boys/non-collectors.  We all got to keep one of nice MLP cups!

After we all met and talked for a bit, we headed outside for our first game (created by Rhini).  It was Pony Trivia-Bingo!  We created our own cards.

We also did a gift exchange!  I wish I would have gotten pictures of everyone's gifts, but I did manage to take a picture of the gorgeous custom Rapunzel that FairyDust made (Sunshine got her!)

We stuffed our faces with hot dogs, hamburgers, baked mac & cheese, pork n beans, chips, and all the delicious kinds of desserts you could think of...and we went into a sugar coma...

We also played Whack-a-Fakie!  This game was a HIT (get it? lol...bad pun, sorry).  We each got three opportunities to hit a fakie as far as we could.  If we missed, we got to try again.

...We didn't get any picture of it (or at least I didn't), but when the guys hit, fakie heads went flying.  It was quite hilarious!

We also played games like "Guess how many Ponyvilles were in the box," "Pony Jeopardy," "guess those ponies," and "see how many ponies you can name in a minute."

We lucked out with the weather.  No rain and it wasn't a typical St. Louis hot & humid day!  It was a bit hot at times, but nothing compared to what we are usually subjected to.  Success!

I can take pictures of the swap gifts that Mr. Dust  and I received.  (he's used to being called Mr. FairyDust or Mr. Dust when I used to play the online game City of Heroes lol).

We'll have to do this again sometime soon.  We don't even need to make it anything too fancy if you don't want.  Just trading, shopping, and talking is well worth the trip!!!

Can't wait to meet up with all of you again!

And thank you Whiskerz for the very thoughtful gift bag.  The painting is beautiful and the baby pony is now with her twin!
