I wasn't sure if this went in Dollhouse or Off-Topic; sorry if I've misplaced it. Anyway, I came across these two dolls while cleaning out my grandma's attic, and was wondering if anybody might know anything about them.
They're about eight inches tall. They're hollow and made of some sort of plastic. Their heads and arms are moveable; they seem to be strung together. The Indian girl has sleep eyes that close when she's laid down. The guy (who I've dubbed "Creepy Dude"
) has open/close eyes too, but you have to move them with your fingers rather than having them close automatically. The clothes aren't removable. I don't see any markings on them at all.n
Grandma says she remembers picking out the Indian girl at a gift shop in the mid '50s, and Creepy Dude was given to her secondhand by a cousin so she's not sure if his origins. She thinks he might be a character but can't place who he his.
