I was just on the TRU Canadian site and I never saw these for pre order I want a spitfire

I don't think these were found in Canada. The person who posted the photo may have been from Canada and may have taken the picture from EQD. If they are on the correct shelf and that tag is correct, those look like US prices. Canada prices are usually higher.

EQD and Strawberry Reef have both quoted sources as saying it was from a Canadian TRU. 

Beyond that, I don't know if there was a misquote and it's simply been repeated a lot, though.  That is a good point about the price.

Both of them showed up on ebay from a Californian seller, so it might not just be Canada.
