What movies has everyone seen lately?

The last movie I saw in theaters was Despicable Me 2. It was cute but I liked the first one better. I've been wanting to see Monsters U but I think I waited to long. It doesn't seem to be playing in my area anymore.

I saw Despicable Me 2 last month and it was adorable I'm a sucker animated films like that. I also saw RIPD recently and that was pretty good too. And it had Ryan Reynolds in it

I just saw Elysium with my dad today.  The special effects were great, but I still feel dizzy from the MAJOR shaky-cam.

And I made Mr. Skeen take me to Monsters U and Despicable Me 2.  You know, to lighten things up a bit.

The last thing I saw at the movies was Despicable Me 2, and I have to confess I thought it was just ok. First one was waaaay better!

Hubby and I however have started renting videos again (yah for kids getting older and getting parts of our life back!) and we've seen some great ones recently:

Argo - awesome. Really enjoyed it.
Lawless - Tom Hardy was in it... of course I loved it lol!  But Tom aside, it really was a great movie.
Skyfall - not a Bond fan but this was the first one I enjoyed a lot in a long time.
3.10 to Yuma (Russell Crowe and Christian Bale) If you're a fan of modern westerns like me this is a goodie

I watched Iron Sky.  It was one of the best B Movies I've seen in a long time! How can you say no to Space Nazis and Space Zeppelins? :3  Twas magical.

Last movie I saw was probably Lone Ranger, which isn't worth seeing IMHO.  I also saw Monsters U and quite liked it but I've always like Pixar. 

Going to see Percy Jackson on Thursday!

Last movie I saw was Our Nixon. Documentary that shows home movies of Nixon and his closest associates' personal and political lives from inauguration to Watergate. Really interesting to see Nixon's career from the eyes of the men who ran it.

i think Australia missed the B movie memo. they made a huge hype about it and everyone was pissed that it wasnt an A movie

I love catching movies at the cinema so I've seen a bunch. This weekend I saw Pacific Rim which despite script and actors were pretty actionawesome! All the NGE references gave me goosebumps. I've also seen the Wolverine which was better than expected, didn't need the 3D though. Best thing was the scene in the End Credits which shows some promisings for the future. I also saw Elysium which was very good. I very much recommend the Way way back. It's such a beautiful movie which made me teary eyed of both joy and sadness.

On Netflix I'm going thorugh the Wallanderseries which is a bunch of movies based on the books of Henning Mankell.

We went to the drive-in on the weekend and saw We're the Millers, and The Conjuring.

There isn't anything in the theaters that interests me right now, so I've been going through our old DVDs and re-watching some of my favorites. I last watched Kiki's Delivery Service; I'm interested in seeing some of the other films by Studio Ghibli so I put in a request for Howl's Moving Castle at our local library. I don't know if they'll be able to get it or not, but the wait is driving me mad.

Since the theater in where I lived is closed, so I can only watch movies on T.V. It was Bicentennial man, with Robbie Williams. Not bad, I loved the robot´s design.

Got a free ticket from tokens on Malteasers packets so went to see 'Pacific Rim' and loved it!
Yeah the voiceover at the beginning seemed to recap an entire film that didn't exist, and there was no real storyline, but the rest was brilliant, and I don't like robot films normally.
Before that it was 'The Hunger Games', 'The Hobbit' and 'Breaking Dawn 2'.  Not going to bother with the later again!
