Princess (royal pink)

I found a Princess (royal pink) in a thrift store today. She had no tail and her mane was cut off completely. Her eyes and cutie mark were in good condition but she was dirty. Her eyelashes were destroyed. I didnt pick her up because i`ve never done a re-hair and wasn`t sure if it was worth it. But now i`m second guessing if i should pick her up.  Any ideas?

Princess Royal Pink?  That's the Groucho Marx eyelash one, right? I say no G1 left behind, unless they're asking a ridiculous amount for a vintage toy. If she's at a reasonable price for a G1 bait, go for it!

I looove the princesses, they can be restored, maybe you can pass her to a new owner or rehair her!

I'm sure there are plenty of people would love to restore or customize her

I agree with above.  If she was cheap, I'd say go for it!  I'm sure so done wants her.

As others have said I am sure she will find a new home - as long as you remember that she sounds in bait/restore price range and she is not a super popular pony to start with. So as long as you dont spend more than $1 in picking her up, I am sure you will sell her on for this.

She was in a bag with some fony ponys, and i think they wanted $3 for the bag.

I think you might struggle to re home her for that or certainly for more than that. So I guess perhaps its up to you as to whether you can leave a G1 behind

I had to go back and get her...And scored an awesome baby moondancer! I got them for $4.50.

For pictures, upload them to an external site like Photobucket. Then copy the image url, click the little Mona Lisa under the Bold button, and paste it in.

As for hair, there are many places you can buy from.  Dollyhair is well known, though I think there have been delays lately. I think a lot of people buy from RetroDoll too.

baby moon dancer All cleaned up.
Princess is going to take awhile.  Her insides are covered in rust. The washer had completely disintegrated.
