New Disney Fairytale Designer Collection - Pic Heavy

I was at Disney's D23 Expo this weekend and they debuted the new Disney Fairytale Designer Collection as well as some of the upcoming merchandise. The area was packed all weekend long (read that as at least 2 hour wait lines to get in to the shop area no matter what time of day) I FINALLY managed to get in. While I was not able to grab quick photos of all the dolls, I did manage to get a few pictures of some of the dolls and paintings.

AND last for those of you who remember 2 years ago with the first designer set they made a set of note cards of the drawn versions of the characters, they are doing the same thing with the couples.

Thanks for posting the pictures. As a life long Disney fan, these are amazing. Am torn between wanting Ariel/Eric or Rapunzel/Flynn. Can't afford both sets, ahhhh the choices!

I really want the note cards!

I LOVE the drawn versions. The note cards were one of the few items available for purchase, so I was lucky enough to buy a set. I bought the note cards from the first release of the Designer dolls as well two years ago. The dolls are absolutely stunning in person.

Oh and I forgot to mention when I posted the topic, they also will be releasing a nail polish set (1 set for the entire collection), clothing, jewelry and possibly a bag/purse. I asked one of the managers at the event if they would have the same merchandise for every princess in the set, and they said they were hopeful but not sure if each release would contain similar merchandise.

Thanks for sharing your pictures! The paintings are lovely and I really like all of the dolls and their clothes. I've seen photos of the Aladdin and Snow White sets elsewhere and those are great, too.

...if I were ever to buy a Belle and Beast, this would definitely be the set.

Were you able to get everything you wanted?  I heard it was pure chaos at times and so many people left disappointed.  Also, seems like there were tons of scalpers there.  Some walking away with 10 of the limited Gold Snow and Prince set to sell on ebay.  I think Disney needs a better 1 per person check point based on an individual's D23 ticket id.

Disneystore.com has the mugs, journals, and two t-shirts all ready up. Plus an amazing adult sized Snow White dress. I want a Rapunzel journal and mug.
